AEIMD Summer Science Camp promotes a better world through knowledge and education!

Mission Statement

To promote the recruitment and retention of students (particularly minorities) pursuing a degree in any Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) related major.

About Us

We are recent graduates of the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering and we want to spark change!! Positive role models are needed in every community and our vision is to be that positive influence on the younger generation, our future leaders. We are all in this together – and we thank you for visiting our site and we appreciate your interest.....now we have a job to accomplish, and we intend to deliver! This is our online meeting place, where we display our activities, recognize outstanding campers, and publicize our mission. Here is some additional information on our camp leaders:

Our Work

Volunteered and co-coordinated “A Walk For Education” (AWFE, promotes the pursuit of education throughout the community alongside prominent community figures). Developed multiple engineering activities provided for students of all ages to enjoy. Over 300 community members were in attendance: Volunteers from FAMU NSBE; UCF NSBE; UF NSBE, FAMU Organizations, FSU Organizations, local elementary, middle, and high schools, the Tallahassee Police Dept, and City of Tallahassee (including Mayor John Marks).
